An IoT device becomes truly useful when it stops sending numbers and starts reporting situations: an unusual vibration, abnormal consumption, a person in a restricted area.
From data to decision
A modern IoT system has four layers: the sensors that measure, the device that processes, the network that carries data and the platform that stores, visualises and integrates. Artificial intelligence can live in any of these layers: on the device to react within milliseconds, on a gateway to combine several sensors, in the cloud for historical analysis and model training.
The right connectivity for each case
- Wi-Fi and Ethernet for covered environments and high data volumes.
- Bluetooth Low Energy for wearables and smartphone-based configuration.
- LoRaWAN and NB-IoT for battery-powered sensors spread over large areas, with little data and long battery life.
- LTE-M and 5G for mobile equipment or remote installations.
For messaging we use lightweight, proven protocols such as MQTT, with queues and retransmission so that no measurement is lost when the network is unstable.
Security from day one
Every device has its own identity, communicates only over encrypted channels and receives signed firmware updates. We design for the product's life in the field: a sensor installed today must stay secure and updatable for years.
Application examples
- Energy monitoring with automatic load recognition.
- Air quality and comfort in workplaces.
- Precision agriculture: soil moisture, local weather, targeted irrigation.
- Logistics: asset tracking, cold-chain temperature, shocks during transport.
